There is some truth in your belief that part of the reason these people are still in prison is because it was a hígh profile case. However, there is also no doubt that it was also a particularly beastly crime. I can well understand why some - if not most - other people favour keeping them in prison. Having said that, like Dwbaldegle, I would like to see them released, for the reasons, which I have already given. I would also favour the release of Mark David Chapman, who committed a terrible crime too, but who has suffered many years of retribution and is probably no longer a danger.
