The primary reasons were all ordinary.
The Levaquin was prescribed for a simple bronchitis or other later minor infection which any long standing antibiotic would have served just fine.

At the time I remember that I did not want to carry any bronchitis to my mother who was in the hospital at the time due to a stroke. I think the heavy marketing of Levaquin was due to the monster corp Johnson and Johnson trying to corner the market. You see, Flouride based drugs are cheaper to make than to dispose of.

No thanks for the sympathy Ebbie :) I only hope others might examine thier own possible poisoning by the flouride based quinilone drugs like Levaquin. Some case histories show that even one dose can be hazardous.
