Very sad to hear of Jim's passing. I have very fond memories of being on the same bill as him at a couple of festivals many years ago, at Towersey and Chippenhan, I think.Iwas young and very nervous and Jim was very warm, kind,encouraging and supportive. He had a knack of saying just the right thing at the right time. I can remember thinking at the time the folk music scene is for me if everyone is as nice as this big guy. Sincere condolences.
