Virtually everything that has been posted on here (except for the listing of the songs that he published or were released on record) is wrong. I've been working with the Gellert material for 20 years now and interviewed everyone who ever had anything to do with him... found ex-girlfriends, family members (like the famed artist Hugo, his other brother Otto, etc.), people who knew him throughout his life. I'm just now in the process of finishing my book on him for the University of Illinois Press. There were a number of people (including some famous scholars and collectors) who didn't want their material used until after their death. So now is the time.
