That looks like a Kay shell, or one of the similar basic-type shells, with either a totally home-made neck or a cut-down Stratocaster neck. I'd say home-made, but it might be cut down. Are there extra holes where the other two tuners would have been? Obviously plugged, if they were there once, but that would be a tip-off to a conversion instead of a copy.

Interesting, for sure.
