My friends often remark I can't tell Shit from Shinola so this thread made me look up what exactly Shinola is. Apparently, while nowadays it is a euphemism for Shit it was originally a shoe polish. (Sounds of the Darts singing "You got shit on your shoes" in the background!) No wonder my shoes smell!
