There have been adverts on TV for and against this legislation.

One of the worst that I have seen shows a guy purporting to be a doctor telling the viewer that the legislation will be a disaster as there are not enough doctors to cater to an extra 50,000,000 people and that would mean a reduced service for those who are lucky enough to have health coverage. In other words, if you've got health cover get your representative to vote no, so that you can continue to get fast, unrationed treatment, at the expense of those who can't get, or can't afford cover. That really stinks.

Problem is, there will likely be a good number of folk out there who will take that on board.
