Obama needs to know he has the support of the people if he's to end this war. Without the support in matters that count, the best he can do is compromise with the opposition and the opposition wants him to fail on all counts & is depending on his lack of support to suck-seed.
I had hoped he would end both wars when he came to office. I'm half happy he's ending at least one.
