I have a number of audio files, generated from my iMovie videos, but iMovie does not give the option of saving them as mp3s.   These files, whether AIFF, .au, or .wav, are actually LARGER than their parent videos!    I might get 7 to 10 songs on a CD, but I'd like to have them in mp3 format so I could get more like twice that many songs on the CD.

I see that this thread is 9 years old, so I'm not sure the same software is available and applicable.

Anyone have any new suggestions for shareware (or cheap) programs that will convert the large audio files (e.g. AIFF) to mp3 or mp4?
