The fire is about ten miles from me, in a semi-urban area. It was a fairly clear day, so the fire was quite spectacular to see. It was a realtively small area, about 275 acres - but some 30 homes were lost. I haven't heard if any friends have lost homes, but my best friends in the area were spared.
