Subject: RE: london folk and luthiers
we are staying near bayswater station. i imagine there is some folk cd shop with allkinds of fablous stuff not easily got in canada.

the yellow pages are pretty terse here. i guess i'll go over to sharpe house tuesday and sing a canadian song or two.

i looked in the market on portobello. few instruments, and fewer buskers.i used to busk there thirty five years ago. i did see a great fiddler in the tube near westminster station.

i'd love to go to scotland too but it may be too far to work in. i'm a cape breton scotts gael with a little acadien mixed in. any scottish or irish music shops in london that anyome can recomend. either for instruments or recordings?

ifound a hurdy gurdy string supplier!! got to get it up and running when i get home.
