Methinks you protest too much!! A flag pole might break in a strong wind??? Is there insurance?? I have been at various festivals where there have been flying gazebos and tents due to strong winds, I might add that generally if such items are adequately pitched and suitably anchored, according to weather conditions, there should really be no problem. It also raises the problem of tripping over someone's guyrope and falling onto a tent peg or other obstacle!! Where does it all end?? and don't say hospital!!
