Several Mudcatters were a big help in the making of the new documentary film about the New Lost City Ramblers, which is now out on DVD and is titled "Always Been A Rambler". Many thanks to those of you who helped us find archival photos and film footage, some of which found its way into the film.

"Always Been A Rambler" will have its San Francisco Bay Area premiere next week, on Weds. Sept. 9 at Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley. The show starts at 7:00, come early and bring an instrument to play some tunes if you like. Director Yasha Aginsky will be on hand to talk a bit about the film and answer questions. This event is the opening night of the Berkeley Old Time Music Convention.

PFA informs me that they expect this to sell out, so if you want to attend, it might be a good idea to get tickets in advance. You can do that here: http://www.bampfa.berkeley.edu/filmseries/ramblers
