ranger1, I didn't say anything about the Dodge pickups because I haven't worked for the Forest Service or the National Park Service or the Army Corps of Engineers for a long time now, but they all ended up with a lot of Dodge pickups in their fleets because Dodge always had the low bids. They were horrible. Bad ride, bad mileage, not that great to drive. No frills, of course, which made it all seem worse. Some things never change, eh?   :-/
