We had the old girl for 17 years, getting her, as a tiny pup, in early September 1992. Quite a while for a Shepherd-Husky cross! She looked like a Grey Wolf.
She hunted with me and loved to go ice fishing, believing it was a sushi bar! She fiercely protected our home and the kids where as much hers as they were mine. Less than an hour after first being introduced to retrieving from the water she was flying off the end of the dock to get the frisbee.
We buried her in the back yard. Had a little ceremony. We all cried like babies.
She left us all with many many fond memories
