As someone has said, we don't get 'over' grief, we just get 'through' it. Time doesn't seem to affect the emotion itself; I still miss my old poodle and she's been gone 35 years.

The way I see it, if I choose to believe that pets survive somewhere, just waiting for us, that's my choice. The Rainbow Bridge is one way to visualize it.

If we survive death, I have no trouble believing that anything that is capable of loving also survives.
