And while we are making things 'perfectly clear,' I want to note that the statement about Jody's having 'had a direction-altering influence on four separate styles of music - skiffle, rock-a-billy, bluegrass and country' is not a quote from the book, but is a statement that was made by the author to Jody's daughter, Joyce, during an interview for the book. I haven't read the book in its entirety yet, so cannot comment upon its inclusion. I can, however, verify that the statement was indeed made by Mr. Mazor, who also added that he felt a book should be written about Jody himself.
