You sound like a confirmed Ford customer; I prefer GM but that makes no never mind.

I like the Explorer as a rental in the southwest (AZ, NM) but that is because I want gear and purchases under cover, sometimes another couple along, and I don't need truck capabilities. One case where I prefer Ford to Chevy.
