Thankee, thankee. I'm just dashing in for a moment here and there between dueling demands. I did not get eaten by a bear, nor mauled by mosquitos and I did ride most of the way (although I rode in the sag wagon for a few miles to stave off sheer exhaustion). I have now ridden my bike over the old Denali highway in Alaska. Ta-DAH!

AND, so thread creep won't get too serious, I actually saw the Alaska pipeline. It wasn't nearly as big, in diameter, as I had expected. But, Baby, does it go on and on ...
