After consulting with a sound North-Country unionist (now barrister) friend I am minded to make a stand and attend - and even mainly stay. If so I will take care that any possessions (defensive or otherwise) are lawful. But who knows what may change.

I have rotgut wine to effect marinade, ginger, and Oval-Greens.

Surely you could arrange to leave car in pub carpark for a week and taxi from the field at 3am to arrive hungover in Bruges on schedule?
