The WVA FM radio station was interrupting programming after approximately each two music offerings to assure everyone that the predicted 20 ft crest would not affect the campgrounds. At midnight last night they were broadcasting a NOA forecast followed by a "reassuring message" from WVA management.

At 07:30 this morning (local CDT), they are interrupting the music less frequently (about every half hour?), and they are now announcing that Land Rush will take place at 07:00 tomorrow morning. They are urging that everyone proceed slowly and follow instructions, and are giving detailed instructions that if you lose traction you should NOT ATTEMPT to drive out by spinning your wheels. You should notify a "Landrush Security Person" who will have you "towed to dry ground."

They still are broadcasting the prediction of a 20.2 ft crest, but after telling us that the crest (20.2 ft) doesn't affect us, they broadcast the current NOA prediction of a 25.6 ft crest at precisely 07:00 CDT tomorrow morning without further comment on effect on the campground from the five foot increease in the predicted crest.

The music being broadcast is all from prior year performers here, and is quite good if you're within the rather short range required to receive the broadcasts (105.7 FM).
