The NOA prediction has been lowered to a crest at about 18 feet. No reason given, but unconfirmed reports are that the Kaw reservoir (I think it's downstream) dropped their level by about 2 feet, and perhaps some upstream controls have agreed to hold back some of the runoff to level things out. The radio says the ~18 ft level will bring water "only to the edge of the concrete slab in front of Stage 3."
