The part he doesnt mention is,because the public option is funded by the governmnt,it doesnt actually"compete"with the other companies.Because it will be cheaper(funded by tax $s,so our taxes will go up,no matter how much they wish to preach otherwise)it will force the other comanies to lower their rates to compete. However, there isn't a company in the world that can compete with government prices in this case. Those companies will eventually colapse leaving everyone w/1option.Thats no choice.

Insurance companies are wastefully no doubt, this is why many doctors are opening clinics that are cash only. They don't have to hire a staff to file claims. I never said anything about socialism. However, the premiums won't cover the cost. For the president to say 900 billion dollars is the cost and wont effect taxes or the national debt is insane. How can we print $trillion, spend it on healthcare and not raise prices? You can't! It's impossible.

"Even people who are poor or very ill deserve care."

So what hospital would deny a sick person care. Since that would be breaking the law, none.

As for doctors charging wealthy patients more, it could be because wealthy people ask for more personalized services. Even poor people can get these services. Just pay the fee.

The gove will FORCE private insurance out the window in less than six years. Read the bill.

ALSO, the gove has proven that it does not effectively run or have enough money for medicare and medicaid and social security. So the gove has NO business trying this new "take over the whole health care insurance industry".

VOTE AGAINST THIS BILL. VOTE AGAINST THE PUBLIC OPTION>

Thanks.

Vote the incumbents out if they vote for this bill.

You left out some VERY important facts. First, we should vote OUT all those congresspeople and senators who vote for this public option.

It is NOT an option. Right in the bill it clearly states that you can lose your private health insurance if you change employers and it clearly states that employers and doctors and hospitals will have certain fines, outrageous fines. Continued....
