Carol, I would agree that Republicans are no better and maybe worse than Democrats. After all, they're all politicians.

               ACORN, on the other hand, could have a meaningful role to play in the public arena if it would tighten up its management and maybe limit itself to things in which it has more experience. Much of the public sees it now as a huge loosely affiliated group controlled by political operatives who are simply in it for what they can get for themselves.
