Not in my experience (over the past ten years).

Great in principle, but I lose count of the number of times I've wandered from pub to pub to pub trying to find a decent singing environment ie. something other than a desultory (or exclusive) musicians' session and/or a battle with rowdy drunks or canned music or amplified wannabees or whatever. Yes it would seem there are plenty of potential venues at Otley, but the reality is often very different. Maybe I've just been unlucky..
