John Murphy of Hampton New Brunswick died suddenly on Tuesday. He was a dear friend not only to me but to all who knew him. A genuinely good man. He was 66. Born in England, he and his dear wife, Pip, moved to Canada in 1974.
He was one member of the NB music group Hal 'n Tow. This is such a shock.
