Thread Name: BS: Santa Hints 2009
Subject: RE: BS: Santa Hints 2009
Darn. I posted on the wrong year. Here it is again, taken from the source code, so I hope it displays right:

1. What is your age range? 55
2. Gender? F
3. Do you have a favorite color? Dark Blues and Greens
4. Favorite authors/type of book? Lately, nonfiction issue books (environmental)
5. What books have you really been wanting? I buy the books I want to read and I have a gazillion still to read around the house.
6. What type of music do you like? Classical, folk, blues, jazz, classic rock, ecclectic world music, etc. The field is wide open.
7. What CDs have you really been wanting? I have way too many CDs now (after a coups at a garage sale last year my collection grew by 300!)
8. What movies have you been wanting? (specify VHS if you don't have a DVD player) I have NetFlix so I don't buy many movies. I don't have a list.
9. What is your t-shirt size? Medium or Large
10. Do you collect anything? if so, what? Yes, and I'm trying to clear it out! (See all of those de-clutter threads!)
11. What are some of your other hobbies? Cooking, gardening, sewing, photography, jewelry making.
12. Do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry? "Tone" is a scary term, isn't it? I wear gold and silver, and they're probably too expensive for the gift exchange.
13. Please include anything else you feel is important that would help your Secret Santa know what you would like Rather that a box of calories (we have lots of those here) if you have a local specialty that is worth the trouble to ship, that's my suggestion if you're thinking of food. I love to read the local paper if you're finding a way to pad your gift. Things that ship well and I enjoy are small art objects. I've received several tiles from people over the years, and small wood carvings. Those always find a place on a shelf, on the wall, or near my computer. I can see two of them from here.
14. Remember that "negative hints" such as allergies might also be helpful. I doubt my allergies encoumpass anything you're liable to send.

And...for all the lazy gits out there...a link to last year's hint thread so you can say "no changes". Actually, I decided to retype it this year. The answers may be the same, maybe not, but at least they're current.
