The Sibelius Scorch software uses its own proprietary format in order to store score and lyrics, and given its high price tag I personally don't view it a front runner in the ubiquity stakes. I'm not sure whether I've reported this in other public threads but I've commenced writing a suite to convert the DT SongWright files into MIDI plus embedded lyrics.
