I got rid of a bunch of yard signs that have been taking up space in my garage. The cardboard I re-used, and the metal frames went to the recycling center. It seems like everybody puts up yard signs these days-- the landscaper & the painter, not to mention the political candidates.

My friend and I participated in the 150th anniversary of one of our local institutions, St. Patrick's Church in Detroit. We did the Communion hymn. It was kind of an honor to be asked to be part of it.

And (trying not to hurt myself, patting myself on the back) our trivia team won first place this afternoon at the pub quiz. And we found out that one of our team members is pregnant. Woo-hoo!
