I have water again, altho the pressure is still a bit low. Things were going along fine, they replaced the pipe into the house, and then a problem occurred. The pipe from the watermain to the sidewalk connection developed a leak. So the city water dept. had to come out and replace that pipe. Another hole, this time in the middle of the street. Of course, all the big yellow trucks and earth-movers entertained the n'hood children.

They'll patch the driveway tomorrow, but they suggest waiting until next spring to replace the concrete.
