Oooooh - You have realy got me at it now! I can remember the song. One of the verses was the "There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile, found a crooked sixpence beside a crooked style etc etc" nursery rhyme. I suspect the other verses were similar. Definately released by a 'folky' type artist and had some measure of sucess here in the UK - dunno about the 'other side of the pond'. I'm away from work now for a couple of days so it will drive me nuts!Good luck anyway
