It's the first morning that really feels like fall. Not because we've had all of that rain, but because of that special combination of crisp cool temperature, the quality of light, the way the leaves are beginning to look on the trees, and because one of these days the cat will begin to curl up on my bed again. He doesn't sleep with people when it's warm out.

Looks like it's time to pull light blankets out of cupboards and give them an airing so the next time the bed linens are changed the blankets can be added to the bedding.

I'm working on an eBay shipment. I took it to the post office yesterday, but since it is an ordinary envelope I can't mail it with tracking, I'd have to do a more expensive delivery method. I'm going to have to put it in a padded envelope and ship it that way to get the cheap tracking and relatively inexpensive shipping cost. And having taken a look at Kat's holiday-oriented eBay listings, I need to see if I have any similar items to sell. I'm sure I do.
