Riding my daughters new Mountain Bike(a Raleigh)about 20 years ago, I came flying around a corner to find a guy in a Duster backing out of a driveway. I hit the curb, going ass over tea-kettle. Ended up with road rash from my ankle right up to behind one ear. At the hospital, you can imagine my embarrassment when asked what kind of bike and I had to say "a pink 12 speed"!
