Does anybody remember a show "Branded"? I seem to recall the opening titles were an officer being "drummed out" of a military (presumably ACW)unit, buttons off, shoulder straps off, broken sword, the lot. (IIRC the gimmick was that he kept the sword cut doen as a bowie knife).

As far as I recall, the thee was something like:

All but one man died,

there at Bitter creek

And they say he ran away!

BRANDED !

Marked with a coward's shame!

What do you do when you're branded?

When you fight for your name?

Whatever you do for the rest of your life

You must prove you're a man….

And that's where a somewhat faulty memory runs out
