Just a quick update and reminder!

As well as Alan Day and Mike Ainscough on anglo concertina and guitar, from what I hear of who's coming to the first of this year's season of old fashioned and traditional music sessions, it seems this Sunday will see a tremendously mixed bag of old-fashioned entertainments.

Barring natural disasters, in addition to Alan and Mike's popular old song tunes I'm confident in saying that we can look forward to step-dancing, session tunes, and a selection of songs that might be described variously as traditional, singalong, popular, old fashioned, touching, trivial or plain bonkers.

If that's the kind of thing you think you might like, please don't forget - Bell+Jorrocks, Frittenden (south of Maidstone) 27th Sept, starting at 8pm.

PS Concertina fans might enjoy this clip fromm the last session showing Jody Kruskal singing Princess Papouli and this of Bell & Jorrocks session regular Julie Atkin singing On a Slow Boat to China accompanied on duet concertina.
