I was looking in a trunk in my office that I thought was full of odds and ends, but it is in fact the trunk that has most of a 12-place setting china set from my great aunt's house. So I went looking in another trunk in the front room to see if that was where the odds and ends I had in mind are stored. I opened a box I haven't seen in over 25 years that had many of the other glass pieces I knew my friend packed up for me, but I thought had gone missing. Depression glass, ornate Japanese ceramics, crystal. [sigh] Tempting to pull it all out, but I stopped with just a few pieces. These will need to be washed and put up, but this isn't what I had in mind. The other trunks in there are a little harder to reach so I'll put aside the plan to list another antique gadget on eBay and finish my wiring and then my living room arrangement. Then I might have a better place to put some of the stuff in the trunk, or find the items I wanted to list.

Amazing how many old blankets, tea towels, bath towels and textiles are in all of these trunks. Also lots of embroidery and crochet and linen items. Lots to look through and and give to family or list.

My office is neater; I filed and shredded paper that was on the trunk and the shelf with the new file mentioned above. Laundry is washing, and I'm about ready to start on the wires. I'll do that next.
