I've always had a fondness for those old VCR tapes. And in some ways they're like the cassette tapes that much of our music was on for years. It is a durable form of data storage, so I haven't been quick to toss them all. I doubt the world will suddenly stop using CDs and DVDs, but don't feel particularly guilty about having a tall bookcase filled with them still.

I went through another trunk, to see if it had some of the things I had in mind to list, but it is a collection of personal letters from an uncle I never met and some family photos. And more blankets. Oy.

I'm stepping down my meds again this week, taking the reduced amount every 36 hours (I have a little chart to keep track). I suspect I'll be feeling it, so I am not planning to conquer the world this week or next, I'll let my system adapt to this lower level. This is a nuisance, but it is necessary.
