Skarpi, I THINK Gordon Brown was talking about the UK banks that have been bailed out by the British taxpayers.
There have been problems with UK banks as well my friend, unfortunatly Iceland, although it is undoubtedly the biggest loser, has not been the only country who's banks have gone to the wall.
