I too was wondering about a ferret, Sorcha. A house that I moved into had a ferret problem. Luckily the previous family hadn't lived there long but even then I scrubbed and scraped and moaned about.

I wouldn't have known that it was a ferret smell if I hadn't found some photos left behind.
