One of the best things that Mudcat has is the ability to go back and rejuvenate old threads. Many thread topics are better if you bring the old thread back instead of starting a new one. I like reading the old posts in relation to a question, even if the new question is a different slant. Just an opinion.

As for total nonsense such as the Killing a Thread thing, I think the people who posted there would be happy to kill off 75% of it. If everyone agrees, it can be done, but the call goes then to Max/Joe/Pene. The "timed" thread idea is OK, but I think it just creates some excess work as threads tend to drift around.
