I haven't had to go to Dell for replacement parts in the last few years. My daughter's power supply went out around christmas last year and she ordered a new part from NewEgg. It needed a little coaxing to fit (I think she said she cut the case a little) but with drives and such we haven't had to do any surgery. I wonder if it is because of older equipment?

I use an HP, the kids have Dells. One of these days I will build my own computer. I'd like to give it a spin.
