As you can see from the date of the first post of this thread, we've had a problem with disappearing messages for a long, long time.

I haven't found the answer to that one yet. Sometimes, I think it's Mudcat, and sometimes it's my browser. If you get an error message after you post; then the problem is definitely Mudcat, and it may be a while before I can post successfully. If that's the case, I paste (see below) my post into a text file on my computer, and save it so I can post later.

If I post and it goes to the Forum Menu and the thread I posted to isn't at the top of the list, then the message just didn't "take." It happens often, so I've learned to highlight and copy [CTRL-C] messages that took me a long time to type. Then if it doesn't post, I can try again by pasting [CTRL-V] the text into a message box.

But does anybody have an idea what causes my messages to disappear? Is it Mudcat, or is it my browser, or is it something I'm doing wrong?
