I'm still in shock.

The first time I met Barry, he told me at a Getaway that the sea chantey I was singing wasn't a real chantey (it was). The next time I met him was at a Mudcat sing at his house. He came up to me and said, "Hi, I'm the guy who obnoxiously told you that your chantey wasn't real." I had so much respect for that - it takes courage to be that self-aware, to remember something like that years later, and to clear the air.

But the moments I will treasure the most are the times, every time - he sang You Wouldn't Know It To Look At Me. It was and is one of the most heartfelt songs I've ever heard.

We'll miss you Barry.
