I went to see him off today. Justine will be OK, and Natalie and Gabriel are also strong. I have a feeling Barry wasn't afraid to talk about dying since he came so close a couple times. It also seems that it's hard knowing you won't get any more time together, but the worst sort of mourning is for what could have been and now, never will. There's none of that with Barry. I think all his possibilities were realities, and I can't imagine him being any better at anything than he was.

There were a lot of people at the funeral home. There were people showing up all day long, and many were hanging around to share memories. We'll be doing that for a long, long time.
