I was lucky enough to meet Lesley way back in the early 70s and the news of her tragic death only reached me around 12 hours ago. She had a great talent, was a fine human being and a warm friend. We shared some great times together, especially in those earlier days and her departure will leave a permanent hole in the landscape of Scottish folk music. I will miss her. I still can't believe she's gone. She truly was one of a kind. Rebecca, this is SO very sad. You have my profound sympathy.
