Happy B.D.! You know I didn't forget but in the rush to Boston, only my mother's card got mailed. (Her birthday is today, too -- she's a LOT older than you!)

Alas, the best belated birthday card (and I'm going to make sure it's good and late) is one that's been unavailable for a few years. Rats!

But I DO have a delightful (if you're into that sort of thing) B.D. present for you -- maybe the one I got for free at a yardsale, maybe the other one. You'll get the one that remains (and another perfect gift) for Christmas.
