I see that Barbera Dickson is doing a gig at the Anvil in Basingstoke early next year. I may go just to see if she still does any of the songs I remember her doing around Liverpool. I think that her Liverpool connection was mainly based on a friendship with Willy Russel. I have tapes recorded at the Mitre in Liverpool and I still occasionally "Do" one of the songs from it.
