Hi, Alice - I really enjoyed your singing. It's nice to finally have a chance to hear you. Your son sounded great, too. I was not able to play the MP3 files with Windows Media Player, the standard player that comes with Windows, even though I believe that player will play some MP3's. The file worked just fine on RealPlayer. Contrary to what the other people say, I've found I can make good recordings on RealProducer with a smaller file size, about 500 kb for a three-minute recording. I set it to record to play through a 28.8 modem and I choose NOT to record it as the "SureStream" format, which has a much larger file size. My RealPlayer recordings work nicely as e-mail attachments, and anybody who can hear Mudcat Radio can play my recordings.
