Glad it amused you, Teribus. I actually posted it for the benefit of our American cousins. I have no knowledge as to whether there is any truth in it or not, but you obviously do since you have dismissed it out of hand. Perhaps you'd be good enough to enlighten the rest of us - it would certainly be interesting to know where you have got your information from.

My interest in the Templars is a purely historical and factual one, based on their presence in the area where I live. There's enough there of interest to keep me going for a long time.
