Thread Name: Chord Req: When My Rowboat Comes In
Subject: RE: Chord Req: When My Rowboat Comes In
I was more tired than I thought. It's not bubblyrat, it's deepdoc.

I don't know how skilled you are, deepdoc, so I'm going to state that the key is D, the time is 4/4, and often in the song the last note of the measure does not fit with the chord you've got going. Therefore, you have to let up on the guitar in some fashion in order to avoid ugly clashes.

p.u. stands for 'pick-up notes' . Don't play a chord the first time.

What follows are chords for what I can remember of the song. Is there more? Deepdoc, could you post further lyrics?

p.u.    D
When my row-boat comes in, there'll be room e-nough to ride
         Em
when the seas are rough in the high-est tide
         F#m       D Em    D Em   D
when the sun comes up on the o-ther side.

      Em                                 D
Ev-ry-thing will be all right when we go row-ing.

[Let's hope the chord names and words stay lined up when I submit.]
